Working from home

How to setup the PC issued to you and access government resources:

  1. Unbox your PC, monitor, mouse, keyboard and USB-C Hub.
  2. Workout where in your "living space" you'd like to have your workstation setup.
  3. The workstation area should have the following:
    • At least 2 available sockets
    • Good Wi-Fi coverage
    • Enough deskspace to put a laptop next to a 27" monitor
  4. Connect everything up to where it's supposed to go
  5. Power on the laptop with either the button on the laptop itself or the button ontop of the HP USB-C Hub
  6. On the login screen click the Wi-Fi icon in the bottom right corner and connect to your Wi-Fi Network
  7. Login with your credentials, the username will be your.name (or you can use your shortened username e.g. yn1).
  8. The laptop should automatically open the Fortinet VPN Client and connect. If not, double click the icon on your desktop and enter your credentials (same as you used to login) and click connect.

Logging into Cisco IP Phones

To login to a Cisco IP phone click the button under where it says login on the display and enter your extension number and password emailed to you when you joined. When you're finished REMEMBER TO LOGOUT.

How to use the Printserver and Printers

  • The printserver is already added to all government owned devices, so you can just print like you'd normally do to the main_print printer
  • When you walk up to a MFP you will be prompted to enter an username and password, you can use your AD credentials for this or just scan your door access card. On the homescreen you'll see a bar at the top telling you if you have any printjobs and if so how many and you'll see 3 options: Print Release, Device Functions and Scan.
    • Print release will show you all the pending printjobs you have, when they were added and will let you cancel them.
    • Device functions will bring you to the Ricoh homescreen to let you copy and fax documents.
    • Scan will let you scan documents as PDFs, JPEGS and TIFFS and send them to your email.
  • To quickly release a document: login and press the button and the printing will start, or on a printer without a touch screen just scan your door access card and printing will start immediately.
  • Microsoft Office

  • Logging into Office is as simple as entering your AD username with @woozy.land at the end and enter your AD password. Upon the first time signing in you will be prompted to setup 2 factor authentication just follow the steps and you'll be able to access your Office account.
  • On the Office for desktop apps just open one of them (Excel, Word, etc) and login with your email
  • Connecting to Wi-Fi

  • On Government owned devices you should already be connected to Wooz-Main.
  • On employee owned devices you should use Wooz-BYOD and enter your AD credentials.
  • Guests should be instructed to use Wooz-Guest where they will enter their email and verify to get 30 days of internet before they have to verify again.
